There is a saying we all know very well: ‘that’s the last straw’. For those of us on the more progressive side of things, and who like the idea of things of oh, I don’t know…. a fuctioning republic over a dictatorship, this Trump presidency is descending us into new levels of hell. While our once trusted news sources have now been bought out by corporations obliged to Trump, many turn to social media for accurate, real time news. The reverse, the Upside Down, from the ‘Fake News’ era.
This has led a number of people to mininformation, burn out and the like. I curate mine but I’ve not escaped a lot of hate. “The last staw” for me has been the Tik Tok of a black minister and a woman on his page that I want to highlight here. I do because 1) it astounds me. 2)I hope you engage 3)I look forward to seeing him when things start hitting close to home. “LonghaireddTrucker3” who recently posted a video that he is one of those “classically different” people who “doesn’t fit in” is the whitest supremisist a black man can be. That is what is so abursb to watch. With videos saluting people like Pete Hegseth of all people
What first caught my attention was his Tik Tok video speaking out against the minister Budee who asked 47 to show some mercy on Americans and even illegal aliens who fear for their lives. Trucker’s anger and outrage, as a minister, over a call for mercy caught my attention. He could only see it as leftist-ideology. We all saw the eye rolls and scowls of Trump and Vance and the calls for her firing.
And so our dialouge enused from politics to religion. I want to share some of that here so you can see the mentality we are dealing with out there in the public.
Me: I am a teacher and I have students who are scared and stressed. He said he was president of compassion and unity. she only asked for mercy. Sheesh.
LonghairedTrucker3 · (his response regarding Trans) Is he rounding up the LGBTQ community and throwing them in prison no he is going after the illegals that committed a crime by ignoring our laws.
Me: (speaking to him of Trans) You have an excuse for everything dont you? If you can’t live or be who you are in the public square, how is that not like a prison, you of all people should know that.
LonghairedTrucker3 ·You can live as you want but when it comes to the kingdom of God it just doesn’t work that way. That is the truth not excuses.
Me: But you don’t worship God. You worship an Americanized Bible. If you did follow God you would see that they point to God and I research what you read rather than take it at face value.
Me (again lol): If you really knew God you would recognize love because God is love and you didn’t see it in that pastor. You had nothing but contempt for her. Nothing but contempt for a call to a mercy for all.
LonghairedTrucker3 · My friend, I know the Bible better than most pastors. I have studied the Torah and the Quran. for 8 years. that’s all I did, nothing else. and the Bible’s not Americanized. The Bible speaks of it. The Torah also the Quran. Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13.
Me: You are reading a Americanized version of the Bible. Homosexuality wasn’t added in there until the 1800’s. Jesus never spoke to it but he sure did in judgemental hypocrites. He more so than any other.
What I didn’t see till now in preparing this is a lady chimes in and starts with him. I will just share what she says:

Me: oh because she asked you to think about extending mercy on everyone lol 🤣. What a trip for a post.

Me: That is not true. Maybe she could have made it shorter. He invoked God behind his presidency. She just asked him to have mercy even on those who he may otherwise treat differently. She was brave. A call to mercy is a Jesus act.

Me: Did Jesus supposedly commit a crime? Did his disciples violaate laws the Pharisees were inflamed about? Do you know that Biden got more illegals out? Me: This is an exaggerated issue #1. This can be taken care of better, we had a bill #2. Other countries have looser borders and are fiine. We can fix it.
Some of the convos were deleted like when Longhaired gives a list of F’s diversity, inclusion, gender, race ect. It should all be based on Merit. I compared the Biden Cabinet to Trumps. Hegseth to Lloyd Astin–a TV Talk Show Host White Nationalist, National Guard to a 4 Star General who has been in 2 wars and led. No response but his lady friend saw them as equals.
And so it continues on, with withdrawing necessary monies for charitiess world wide we provided so that millions will suffer from not receiving critical medications. He paused federal financial aid including Snap, medicare, fixing our roads, paying for police and all sorts of things while firing Trans from the military. All illegal moves. What will become of us or him? I don’t know but it always gives me pause and ruptures in my spleen to see someone from a minority culture support a man who is so clearly not supportive of them unless it is to use them or save face.
God help us when we can’t turn the hearts and minds of black pastors in the face of white supremacy. How far we have fallen. May God have mercy on us all. I hope the retribution is swift, people feel it and boot them out quick. That’s the best we can hope for.
